This is a good place for us doggies to write, especially while Mommy is away on holiday! We are having fun playing in Daddy's yard with our friend and cousin Akira, the Shiba Inu. We miss Mommy, but we are having so much fun tormenting the cats in the house and the neighbor's dog Betsy! When Mommy gets home, she will have a lot to read about here on our site!

2 wolves: cherokee legend

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.

"A battle is raging inside me," he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego."

He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside us all."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
